- Need simultaneous humidity control (latent-heat recovery) → choose a rotary heat exchanger.
- Clean/sterile, zero cross-contamination → choose plate type (sensible heat).
- Large-airflow fresh-air pre-cooling/pre-heating → rotary offers the best cost-performance.
- Low-dew-point drying (dew point < -10°C) → rotary dehumidifier.
