  • Clean/sterile, zero cross-contamination → choose plate type (sensible heat).
  • Large-airflow fresh-air pre-cooling/pre-heating → rotary offers the best cost-performance.
  • Low-dew-point drying (dew point < -10°C) → rotary dehumidifier.
